Software Requirements

• SurePost.net Offline Software has been tested on
Windows 98, Windows ME, and Windows XP.
It requires your Windows critical updates are current.
If you encounter problems installing SurePost.net software,
please click here and check for updates to your system.

• Some computers need other components updated.
If you get an out of date error install the following software

SurePost.net Offline Update

• This update is required to use Surepost Offline together
with Surepost Online Version 5+.
• To update Surepost Offline must be installed:
1. Download and run the following self extracting zip file.

• TIP: to use Surepost Offline together with
Surepost Mail Checker, set your Surepost Offline
Preferences to "Do not show icon in system tray..."
and "Only download mail when Send/Recv..."

SurePost.net Offline

• Surepost Offline is free of charge to all SurePost.net users.
• To install Surepost Offline:
1. Download the install program to your computer.

2. Double click on the Surepost Offline installer to run it.
3. When the installation is complete you will be asked
to enter your user name and password.
4. Surepost Offline places a mailbox icon in your system tray.
(the area to the left of your time – bottom right of your screen).
5. To view mail and launch Surepost Offline / Online
double click on the mailbox icon in your system tray.
(the mailbox will raise a red flag when you have new mail).
• TIP: always check the list of Email in your Junk folder for
any important mail that may have been filtered. Double click
on it to download mail to your inbox.
• TIP: a red flag will go up when you have new mail.
• TIP: the mailbox icon has a red X if there is no connection.

• This software works with the High Speed Surepost.net Internet
• For best results, we recommend setting Image Quality to
"Very Good" or "Excellent"
• Use maximum for speed when graphics are fully unimportant
